Shares of Snap have added another 8 per cent to their first-day pop, trading up to $26.52 at the start of the Wall Street session.

Snap made its debut on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday with a 44 per cent rise from its listing price of $17.

At current levels, Snap, which lost more money last year than it made in revenues, has a market capitalisation of about $30bn.
